King Tee Strikes At Last Posted on March 7, 2002

Straight from the underworld, or rather Westcoast2K, comes a interesting update on King Tipsy himself. King Tee was interviewed in a magazine, and he had some pretty interesting things to say about his new album, now entitled "The King Strikes". The album will finally be released on Ruthless, after "Thy Kingdom come" never got released. On the label-situation, this is what he had to say: "Man, Me & X are too cool to have to be categorized as rappers & boss. That's why I didn't go to Open Bar" King Tee said. Production for the next album will be handled by Dr. Dre, E-Swift, Battlecat, DJ Premier, Ric Rock, and more. The album is planned for about late this year. Guest appearences will include Tha Liks, Xzibit, Phil Da Agony, Knoc-Turn'Al, Ras Kass, Mos Def and more. The only familiar name I miss on that list is Saafir, but more artist will be added, as King Tee bumps into them.

well whatever...here it is again

King T's 5th album "yet untitled" is already being hailed as a classic and his best yet by those that have heard it. The new album is set to be released early fall this year. Tracks like Twista Corna featuring WC, Blow Trees feat. LV, We Do It Eazy feat. Bone Thugs, and tracks with Xzibit, Tha Liks, Threat, Ms. Toi, a hot newcomer named Young Maylay and many more feature T's trademark sound, raw and ready to party. Dre also came out to support King T on this record, and he is scheduled to wrap up the album with a cut with him.

I guess the album changed name, and dropped as - The Ruthless Chronicles - that dropped in 2004.

If you haven't got it - go get it now.
