the title is a lil off.  The title for the new album is Say Hi to the Bad Guy.  The first single is "So Damn Hood" feat. Sisqo.  The video for the song is being shot in the next couple of weeks.  Other songs on the album include "La La", "Fuck Tonight", "House Party", "Youngsters".  Guests on the album include Ja Rule, Kurupt, Eastwood, Spider Loc, Ray J, and more.

This 1's make or break time for tha row, man... Crook is hot to def, but if they fuc him up with wack beats or just use him to make dis records it'll be a waste. I got high expectations for this.

I am praying that the only Row inmates that will be featured on Untouchable will be Kurupt and Eastwood. The less guests the better albums usually turn out.

Yeah for real... i wanna see a LOT of Crooked I on this... with minimal guest apperances

well, the row is up to their usual crap.  They previewed the single months ahead of time, then let the promotion die, so as of now, that single is worthless.  Nobody's gonna buy the album off of it, and now they can't re-release the single.  The vid. didn't premiere in May, the album didn't drop in the spring like the site said, it didn't drop in april like Suge said, it looks like the row is trippin' again.  I think, honestly, that they're just afraid of the lackluster sales it's gonna bring. They talked all this crap, and now, there's no way possible they can live up to it!  If they woulda just layed low, and released it, they could brag about it going gold.  Now, if it doesn't go triple plat, it'll be considered a dissapointment.

Nas, Ja Rule, Treach... like i expected.. a lot of NY cats on it. Tha Row is starting to piss me off with those wack connections. They needs to stay more focused on the West. I hoped this album to be strictly Death Row, i mean with featurings of maybe 2Pac, Kurupt, Eastwood and other DR inmates. To rep it. But it looks like it will be a lil bit commercial. Btw i'm really anticipating it a lot. Shit's gotta be hot for real.

Yo, after this "Pimp Slap" joint dropped I think that Crooked I has went back in tha studio to make tha first reply to it!!! I cant say for sure if this is tha reason his debut album got pushed back but it may be! Who knows he might of already made a diss joint towards Snoop but it got alot interestin' after "Pimp Slap" dropped!! Suge now has a reason to go after Snoop, and on Crooked I's debut album would be tha best place for it!!! Crook prolly has a couple of joints on tha album that take shots at Snoop, Dre and tha old DR inmates but I can see a full diss joint towards Snoop dropped from Crook on his debut September 24th!!! What is ur opinion on this!? Do u think Crook will put tha Snoop Dogg reply on his debut album or will it show up on a mixtape or somethin'!!?? All I know is that this is gonna get realllll interestin' realllll soon!!!!

Crooked I... delayed yet again? - 13 September, 2002 By : Overseer
Rumours are flying all over the place that Crook's long awaited debut has been pushed back yet again.

The current rumour is that it has been pushed back to make way for the NINA album. (Itself currently being disputed by her family).

Tha Row's site still says 24th September, clicking the pre-order link yields a travel back in time to another page with the date of 10th September.

CD Universe now has 'delayed indefinitely'.
Koch entertainment's website now contains no mention of the project.
Both used to contain the 24th September date.

The date being thrown around in current rumours is December.
As soon as I get something concrete I'll post it up here.

Not only is Crooked I not dropping on September 24th, the album isn't even complete yet! There is no artowrk either, Tha Row has a general idea of what they want but nothing is final! As of now, only 10 tracks are mixed down completely and ready to go, but Crooked I has another 7 songs to go meaning his album will have 17 tracks(not including intro/outro etc.).

As far as "So Damn Hood" goes, this will not be the first single! The remix version featuring Juvenile will more than likely be the only one put on the album... so the original version won't be on the album!
Tha Row is still undecided on what will be the first single but they have more than enough time to figure that out being that the album won't drop until November/December @ the least!

News On : "Tha Row" - 25 October, 2002 By : Rud

The report also detailed some information regarding Crooked I's album debut to be titled, "Say Hi To The Bad Guy", Crooked I is said to have had this to say :

"The west don't feel the same, I don't care what any body says, it don't feel like it did when Death Row was doing they're thing...there ain't that many things going on over here right now. Who else on the West Coast right now am I feeling, that's a shame man there just ain't that many."

On his debut album Crooked I intends to branch out, which "Death Row" was not renowned for doing, and working with many East coasts artists on the debut, due in January 2003. Those include : Ja Rule, Caddillac Tah, The Lox, Sisqo and maybe Jay-Z. Word has it that the first single will not be So Damn Hood, with Sisqo, as it was set to be earlier this year, another single will be hitting radio stations later this year. Production on the debut is set to be handled mainly by the in-house roster, Triple 7 Crew & Darren Vegas with some also from Monster-O of the Boo Ya Tribe and Crooked I himeslf.

Crooked I's debut album "Say Hi To Tha Bad Buy" will FINALLY be in stores without further delay on JANUARY 28th of 2003. The album features guest appearences from 2Pac, Scarface, Nas, Ja Rule, Kurupt, Jadakiss, Eastwood, Danny Boy and Sisqo. Production will be handled by Irv Gotti, Darren Vegas, Jim Gettum and Monster. Apparently "So Damn Hood" didn't cause enough mainstream buzz therefore it will not be the official lead off single.
