Paris - Sonic Jihad
« on: August 04, 2003, 08:47:47 PM »
The first single is What Would You Do (d/l in my sig). This is supposed to come out on September 23 & should have appearances from Kam, dead prez, Public Enemy &  dancehall sensation Capelton. See the album cover at www.Guerillafunk.com & be on the lookout for more MP3s from the album.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

yeah i'll be surprised if it'll be released with that cover. Paris changed the cover to Sleeping With The Enemy because of the controversy, hopefully he'll keep this one tho
