Xzibit's and Ras Kass' last albums were a bit disappointing but those two highly skilled MC's doin an album together with Saafir could be extremly dope. I still don't know about the reasons for the Loud shutdown, they had some very popular artists signed (Xzibit, Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep), but anyways, like the poster before me said, it's time for this shit to drop

Basically, Loud is owned by Columbia Records, Columbia was unhappy with some of Louds promotion, they then shut Loud down, to take over Louds business. It was all a business-move.

Xzibit said recently that the album should come in February 2003.

Sounds like this project is shot cause of Ras's situation with Priority etc.

Nothing, Ras Kass is in prison and can't even get a solo album out let alone this album.

i actually am glad i never actually believed this would drop, now im not dissapointed  ;D

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Big newz...

Although Ras is still in the 'pen, he's off of Priority now. Not only that, but Xzibit's Open Bar has officially signed with Aftermath Records. So it looks it's gon' be a sub-divison of The Math just like Shady and G-Unit Records. So hopefully once Ras gets out, Golden State can get this shit out ASAP.

Westsiderap.com said Open Bar was gonna become a sub-division of The Math...just like Shady and G-Unit Records. Why would they sign with Shady?
