At first listen...this doesn't sound like the Neptunes...and it is staying true to what he said this being a mix between Pink Floyd and his style.  I just don't like the tone in Common's voice.  When Pharrell comes in for the hook he messes it up even more.

The song is terrible. Commons flow is horrible. The beat is average.

Same here man, it's different. For all of you that are dissapointed, I wouldn't worry, i'm sure the rest of his album ain't gonna be like this. Common don't need them to produce for him but perhaps he likes their sound and fancied having a go at rocking on of their beats. Don't hate.
