The current Horry definitely sucks...that said, he's very capable of snapping out of it and finding his shot with ease. Horry has always been inconsisten with his shot, outside of clutch moments. LOL.

Lakers were expected to lose Game 3...I mean, I didn't think it would be THAT bad, but we practically didn't show up. We'll take care of business tomorrow. Hopefully, it's not a repeat of the Utah series, cuz we definitely took yesterdays game very lightly. I think Phil will let 'em know what's up, and the tone of Game 4 will be much different...PeACe

PS...the gif is not a travel. his pivot foot (right) stays down until he goes up for the shot.

He takes 4 steps, man. Watch it from another camera. He does a little jump. Tecnically it's a 4 step movement. In Europe they call it.

^To me, it looks like he kept his pivot foot (right foot) down from the point he stopped dribbling to the point he went up for the shot.

the irony of this move (he travelled imo) is Kobe did it against a player who travels like 70-80% of time he drives to the hoop ..

It's cause you're watching the .gif (the camera doesn't show Kobe's feet). Like i said try watching it from another camera. Watch this one (the first one).

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/qhA0zCJV6mc" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/qhA0zCJV6mc</a>

He receives the ball, he goes inside for a penetration. He stops with both the feet (that means he can choose his pivotal foot now). He fakes the shot. BUT after he fakes, he does a little jump and he moves both the feet for a moment. You can see it. He stops, he fakes, but he moves both the feet. This is where he travels. Then he finishes the movement. In Europe they call it 99% of the times. I used to be a ref, so i'm used to watch the feet everytime, and to me it's really clear he travels. His intentions were good, but the execution wasn't.

Manu played in Italy. He knows how to do a penetration without traveling. He know how to play basketball. That's not the point. The point is that in the USA they NEVER call travels. They just don't care about applying this rule 100%. They only call travels when somebody makes 5 steps, lol. I mean i've seen some highlights from Lebron where he takes 5-6 steps, litterally. And they didn't call it travels.

Shit, if you watch Kobe's movement again, he probably travels when he starts his movement too. He takes a step before he puts the ball down. In Europe they tend to call it too. In the States they didn't even notice it. It's just a different way of referring games. So i'm not surprised they didn't see Kobe's travels. And i'm not surprised some of the people in here (from the States) aren't recognizing it.

But hey, it's the NBA, not the italian championship. So.. let's just admire Kobe's movement and who the fuck cares if he travels. 8)

Gotcha...that camera angle is way better. The NBA calls only about 50% of travels, though. LOL.

Someone needs to teach Walton, Odom, and Gasol how to dunk a ball. I've never seen a 7 footer settle for so many layups.

Walton is so garbo...Gasol is more of a finesse player and Odom is just settling. Both Gasol and Odom can dunk it, though. I've only seen 6'8" Luke dunk the ball about once or twice in my life...LOL.
