That 2005 season was a fucked up season for the Dodgers because of injuries, similar to the 2008 Season. What's the difference? The young players are ready now. Back in 2005, DePodesta didn't want to have any player long term to block, what he knew and everybody knew back then, the good block of young players.

we all know the reason those other players are doing well is because they're not on the Dodgers
that's usually the case after players leave L.A.
