Lakers didn't match and Turiaf is officially a Warrior. Dude was definitely something special and was one of my favorite Lakers to root for. Golden Stat is very lucky to have him. Peace out, Ronny. Hope you come back at the end of your contract ala Fisher.

a lotta times, the fans become disappointed when one of our players leaves us for money. this is one of those exceptions when none of us could say anything. golden state realized how lucky we were to have him and decided to throw the dude an overwhelming offer that we simply werent going to match. congrats to ronny for getting that paper, best of luck to him.

very likeable guy, very high energy guy, but very average player......sure i understand his a good guy to have around but i think the lakers did the rite thing by not matching.

of course ... I wouldn't give more than 2 millions a year for him ... BUT I'd prefer to overpay rather than Walton and Radman ...

Thank you Ronny etc..

But since our goal is to win Championships, i'd rather sign Kwame Brown (good defender. I know he sucks with the ball in his small hands, but he has a nice body and he can defend one on one against everybody), Kurt Thomas (great veteran who can defend and rebounds) & PJ Brown (great veteran with leadership and experience in the PO) with that money.

Don't get me wrong, i used to love the dude, and i'm happy for him. But we should focus on those type of players now.

If bitch ass greedy ass kobe didn't have such a big contract they could afford to re-sign Turiaf.  God knows that kobe's got everybody so fuckin uptight they need a dude like Turiaf to balance that shit out.

Lakers had Bird rights, I believe, which is why the Lakers had an opportunity to match the contract GS offered him. I doubt there is any shortage of money to spend on players in LA. LA could have kept him if they wanted him.
