They're called motivational posters. You can usually find them in corporate workplaces promoting positive thinking and stuff like that. The ones in this thread are considered "demotivational" so it's a humorous twist of the original idea.

You can create your own demotivational posters @ photobucket.com in their "EDIT" section. That's where the template is anyway.
