i personally dont care what VH1 or MTV think are the 100 best songs. i've seen the shows like "Top 100 Songs of the 90's" and there always some horrible ass songs. it's a non-credible list IMO.

God damn it that list is wack.They put 1 of my least favourite tracks on Illmatic up when it should of been Memory Lane, for Jay-Z they put Hard Knock Life when it should have been something like dead Presidents, KRS's track should of been MC's Act Like They Don't Know instead etc.

you can do like a top 30...but you'd never have everyone agree. people would just argue and try to get their favorite rappers songs in the list. a top 10 is almost impossible to do on this board. but by all means...you can attempt it.
