I believe it's Pop Life by Prince.  I heard the Prince song while listening to the 80's station on my XM radio once.

I Know Its Probly Known All Over The Net, But I Remember Watching "Strip Tease" One Night, And I Saw That Bitch Dancing At The Gov's Boat And They Played That "Thugs Need Love Too Original Sample" From Prince.

It Was Funny But A Nice Sample None The Less.

Ja Rule & Case used the same song for their song "Thug Life". TQ & Warren G used it on "Our Life".

Prince must not want anybody to use that sample because none of the tracks that sample "Pop Life" were released.

Pac's life sampled "Pop Life"
To Live and Die in LA had elements of "Do Me Baby"
Thugs Get Lonely Too (OG) sampled "If I was your girlfriend" -------> Snoop used this sample too for "Head Doctor"
