You can get tons of acapellas off File Sharing Program's like Kazaa or Winmx.  Get at me if you want some.

that's a pretty phat remix, impressive cuz the timing is perfect unlike most remixe's u find on the net. Ayo, i have a question tho about that, is there a way u figured that out or calculated it before u made the beat so that it would match??? I've made remixes that match pretty decent, but i got lucky, i just went through a bunch of different acapellas untill i found one that already matched the beat i had already made... but is there an easier way of doing it???

if yah wanna check out my remixes, i got 4 up at http://www.hubba.com/phiasko ....

they include...

THE NEXT EPISODE (snoop)
THE WAY I AM (eminem)
NO LOVE 4  ME (DMX, DRAG-ON)
SUPER CHICK (JT MONEY, FIONA)

U HAVE to match up the tempo with the beat. this can take anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes. i play the acapella and then use the tempo on whatever program i use, and start playin the song and the tempo at the same time, and let it play all the way through, and if the tempo is even a little bit off, i either speed or slow it down. check out http://www.soundclick.com/rtistic and listen to the dmx remix i did. the MAIN thing to me is matchin up the tempo, cause honestly, i hate hearin typical internet remixes that just throw a beat to an acapella and tell everybody that they know how to make remixes.

R-Tistic is right, it's the tempo thats most important to get the timing real tight. Sometimes I get lucky and get the tempo quickly, other times it's a struggle. Usually it's harder when the tempo is at some fraction like 100.450 BPM etc..

There's a couple of ways to get the tempo. One way is like R-Tistic described. Another way is to use a tempo calculator. I have used one called Freequency in the past.

http://www.bassline.com/software/freequency/

basically you can tap along with the playing acapella and it will calculate the tempo.

Another way is to use ACID. You can use the 'beatmapping' feature which can be difficult - at least I havent mastered it yet. I think there is a freeware lite version of acid on http://www.sonicfoundry.com

After you get the tempo (or at leaast real close) you can line it up with your beat and tweak it from there. I like using ACID for this because I can load a loop of my beat and then slide the acapella a little left or right until it sounds right.
