so the 3 best players weren't enough to win the superbowl? lol

thats funny.

i'd take Vanden-boss, bob sanders, that CB on the raiders, and possibly steroidboy Merriman  over A.T. though...for the defensive players out there

This guy aint no crip, and I'm 100% sure on that because he doesn't type like a crip, I know crips, and that fool is not a crip.

to be honest i would take..
Tom Brady
Ladanien Tomlinson
Brian Urlacher/Ray Lewis (just because of the Leadership and Emotion they bring to the defense)
CHARGERS, BLAZERS, CANUCKS, UCLA

Rationale:

Brady and Moss are the most prolific offensive combination of all time.

Adalius Thomas is a pro bowler who can adapt to wherever he's needed on a defense- and keep being an all-star wherever that is. Name someone else who can do that.

^ says the dude that thinks the jets are going to beat the patriots and go to the superbowl  :-\

lok you take hester to round out all sides of the ball.......

i got someone to anchor to the offense , someone to anchor the defense, and someone to anchor special teams

if you got hester you have  either 1) an automatic touchdown 2) great field position 3) intimidation on special teams.

also he can be used as a wide out if necessary

lmao so me rooting and having high expectations for my team automatically makes me a "bad GM"? also, in that thread "who do you think will be in the superbowl" thread i said i HOPE its the Jets...but i also said it WILL be the Pats vs. Cowboys.

anywayyyyyy...Hester is no franchise player. Dante Hall was one of my fav. players back when he was the special teams man who was exciting to watch. but he wasn't no franchise player either. you need a QB; Brady, Peyton. RB; LT, Peterson, etc. (there are a few other good RB's i could concider). now you either need a big defense presence (Urlacher, Reed, etc.) or a compliment to your QB (WR or a good TE). so, ima have to say TO, Moss, Gates, Chad Johnson, and others of that caliber.

Hester is a nice player to have for the reasons you have mentioned though. would want him on my team but i wouldn't build a team around him.

I gotta disagree, the way he changes games he is def a franchise player

i could have swore Manning-Harrison is the #1 quarterback-wideout tandem of all time ;)

Who broke the records? Who scored the most in a season?

I didn't say Adalius was the best at any position. But in terms of versatility, he can fill every position better than many players who fill those positions full-time. That's valuable.
