For production tips.. an easy one is to remember not to use just one program for mastering vocals etc.. but a set of programs like, cool edit pro, doesn't have good reverbs, which u would use acoustica 2.11 etc.. shit like that..

Don't just go for Digital Music Production
You'll need hardware and software running along side each other for a good production technique.
Expecially a good mic and sound card..

For sound card get a Turtle Beach Voyeta card.
For Mic get something that will give you ok quality.. like a Audio-Techinica mic.. Those are used at Superbowls' performances
