Tottenham Hotspur tie up Roman Pavlyuchenko signing

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Roman Pavlyuchenko to the Stock Exchange.

The Russian forward has signed a five-year deal at White Hart Lane, after a completing a £14 million move from Spartak Moscow.

Pavlyuchenko, who has been capped 22 times by Russia, began his career with FC Dinamo Stavropol before moving to FC Rotor Volgograd in 2000. He signed for Spartak Moscow in 2003 and was the leading scorer in Russia's Premier League in 2006 and 2007.

Juande Ramos has also agreed a deal to sign Vedran Corluka from Manchester City. The Croatia right back had a medical at Tottenham three weeks ago, but City withdrew from a proposed £8 million deal, however the deal has been revived today.

"I am delighted to be here because I am coming to a big club with great players, great ambition and also my best friend [Luka Modric] is here so it is a very happy day for me," Corluka said.
