"Jay-Z was already a legend in 95 before his album came out (1996)" ::)

With this statement was not meant Jay-Z the musician ;)

Already saw this documentary before and yeah itīs a really cool one to an incredible album. Funny that Jigga says Dīevils" is probably his favorite track from his own discography, because itīs also my favourite track from Jay  ;D

yes i know...but thats a bold ass lie. cmon we know the nigga wasnt no big time hustla or comin in with women and all of that. Rappers didnt live like that.

but not just that...him being a LEGEND before his music? LMAAAAO false...they only sayin that NOW cuz he's considered a legend NOW.

Back when Pac n Big lived Jay-Z was barely mentioned with them cats but know they talkin like everybody in the world knew him. RD was a slept on album...it became a classic when Jay-Z really blew up internationally in 98-99

Plus, Yeah D'Evils is probably my Favorite Jay track..but we all know he got that concept from Snoop..hence the Snoop sample.

that was an excellent documentary.  I have a little more respect for Jay-Z after seeing all the complexities that went into the making of that album.  But still for some reason I can't feel it.  I recognize the quality that went into it, but personally it's just not my style, I never really liked anything by Jay-Z.
Givin' respect to 2pac September 7th-13th The Day Hip-Hop Died

Yeah, I caught this on VH1 when it first premiered. Good documentary.

Nas should've done one for Illmatic. Dr. Dre for Chronic and Snoop for Doggystyle.

This album is the only jigga album I like in a whole. It was way ahead of it's time. Too bad jay dumbed down his lyrics to go mainstream he could have been amazing....
