JOE WALSH (A ROCK 'N ROLL GUY) USED A VOCODER IN THE FORM OF A STOMP BOX ON STAGE FOR HIS GUITAR.... THE VOCODER WAS ORIGINATED AS AN INSTRUMENT EFFECT, NOT A VOCAL EFFECT.....
