I honestly think this is one of the best releases this year, this album is sick from start to finish.
I d/l it yesterday and haven't been able to stop bumping it since. I'll be picking this up for sure.

gonna go out on a limb and say that to me this is the BEST hip-hop cd of '08 so far, hands down. it's jammin' from start to finish.

fitting that its a producer album cause like i mentioned before the problem with most artists albums is that they are using too many different producers on their 'albums'. or more likely pressured being applied by record labels to use all these different producers to try and cater to different audiences with a bunch of singles. there's just no regard for the quality and cohesiveness of the lp.

just because an artist says their cd is gonna be fresh and have a concept etc doesn't mean shit about how its gonna sound. these big artists usually talk it big but their albums are just a collection of singles and sub-par tracks with weak collabs. as much as i hate kanye he's able to avoid a lot of bs by being a producer-artist and crafting the sound on his albums properly.
