I, AS WELL AS FAR TOO MANY OTHERS, AM A FELON. I HAVE BEEN SINCE A MONTH AFTER I TURNED 18.

I HEAR FROM SOME PEOPLE THAT AS LONG AS YOU'RE NOT ON PAROLE OR PROBATION, YOU CAN VOTE.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE? IF SO, I WANTED THAT INFORMATION TO BE KNOWN HERE ON THE FORUM BECAUSE IM SURE THERE ARE OTHERS LIKE MYSELF WHO HAVE WONDERED THE SAME THING.

from what i've heard, a felon cannot vote unless it has been expunged from your record.  if i were you i would get the felony expunged as soon as possible so you can register to vote within the next few weeks and vote for OBAMA

actually, to be honest, i dont believe votes count at all and i have absolutely no faith in the system as it is. the judicial system has more holes in it than a screen door and the police have way too much power. but i have heard this question come up so many times in conversation that i felt the need to discover the answer and make that information available for anyone who actually DOES care... 

any amount of trust i might have had left in the system went out the window when bush was re-elected.
