A few question about Z-Ro, Trae and the whole ABN family.
« on: December 01, 2008, 05:32:41 PM »
I've recently started listening to both of them.  Only have their newer albums though.

Z-Ro (I'm Still Livin, Power, Crack)
Trae (Restless, Life Goes On, The Beginning)
ABN (It Is What It Is)

I'm looking for recommendations on what earlier Z-Ro/Trae work I should look into.  Also...what does S.L.A.B. mean?

Also, on Z-Ro's "Power" album, there is a track featuring Big Boss.  Any connection to Lil' Boss?
And lastly, is it Jayton, or is it Jay'ton?

Trae's cool, but Z-Ro's shit has more replay value for me, so I'll give you Z-Ro's stuff.

check out what BloodMoney said and also check out these Z-Ro albums:

- Look What You Did to Me
- Z-Ro Vs. The World
- Z-Ro
- Life
- Z-Ro Tolerance

and S.L.A.B. is the slowed down version of the track(s).

that new Z-ro album (Crack) & ABN (It Is What It Is) straight disappointing as fuck though :-\  why they signed to Rap-A-Lot and got absolutely no beats from Mike Dean, N.O. Joe is beyond me; and only 1 Tone Capone :-\  take a lesson from Face, fellas..

Crack on the first listen I liked but thought could have been better but it has grown on me like crazy over the last few months and is one of my favorite albums to drop this year... the ABN album I loved 5-6 of the tracks instantly but even the rest has grown on me since then, but that album can still be so much better
