The list isn't that good but for a mainstream television station it's better then expected.

It's not but when that track dropped that was getting the most hype b/c of the story Nas painted.

I was watchin the special yesterday. The list is a bit wack, some songs shouldn't even be on the list in my opinion, but here it is:

98 Warren G ft. Nate Dogg : Regulate

WHY TOO LOW, Even youngins in the Mid-West know this song.

Quote
90 Pete Rock & CL Smooth : They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y)

THIS SONG IS TOP 10!!! Now way around it, when I saw this, the list lost it's cred, fuck the new school shit 'cause that's debatable, this in the top 10 is not

Quote
58 Ludacris ft. Shawna- What’s Your Fantasy

Why too high, I know I didn't mention the other songs even being on the list, but Luda is established, and I don't think this song is that high

Quote
49 Boogie Down Productions : My Philosophy

The Bridge is Ova is top 10, this is about were it should be, but not to have the Bridge is Ova is a huge blow to this list

Quote
20 Kanye West ft/ Jamie Foxx : Gold Digger

OH KAY? I guess, but I think if it's top 100, it's in the 90's. I still put Jesus Walks over this.

Quote
18 50 Cent : In Da Club

Top 10, MAYBE top 50-75. But I guess

Quote
14 Tupac : I Get Around

So many 2Pac songs, I don't think I Get Around is his best. And a few of his songs can get put in the top 5.

Quote
01 Public Enemy : Fight The Power

A top 5 song, but not number 1, but I quess

I don't even know half of the songs, of course I know classics like Just A Friend, Regulate, OPP, I Used To Love HER or Children’s Story, but wtf is L'Trimm? or that Lil Kim track

Rap is not real, I don't care what they told you,
Fake people say fake things in their vocalbooth
- Soul Position - Mic Control

I make it hard to read me, graffiti flow - Rakim - Word On The Streets
