More was certainly expected from Kaliko's album, which seems to be the consensus I've seen. It just lacked too much of what makes Kaliko stand out on everything else he does. The production was next to horrible, IMO. The only other Strange Music release from last year that makes me cringe as much is The Plott Thickens, which is why I labeled it the second weakest album they put out last year.

As for blowing up, I'd honestly put money on Kutt Calhoun getting mainstream attention before any of the others, and have better success than Tech himself. Kutt has the right mixture between that sound you hear on the radio daily, and the ability to rip a track like Tech lyrically and flow wise. I'm waiting patiently to see what the Bunk Rock Bitch video does when it's finally released. Insiders are labeling it the best video Strange has produced (beating out Slacker, Imma Tell, Bout Ta Bubble & Like Yeah), so I'm looking for it to make some moves.

As for Makzilla, Greed & Shadow, can't help you much. Makzilla just performs some hype duties prior to Tech going on stage for concerts and has made a few skit like appearances on the recent Strange releases. Aside from that, I know nothing about him. Shadow is another local rapper (Kansas City), but aside from an appearance on Panic's Madcell Mixtape, D-Loc & Dalima's Gillhead Flossin', and obviously Misery Loves Kompany, I don't know too much about him either. Greed (or sometimes listed Young Greed) is Tech's nephew, but hasn't done much aside from a few appearances on Strange releases.

The Kutt/Kaliko track with Tech... um... I can't really say. "moch something" makes me think of Too Much from Killer, but that's probably not what you're talking about. Without more detail, I can't really say.

Tech's verse on Crew Cut sounds like a general shot out to all those fakin, I wouldn't say he had anyone in particular in mind when he wrote that verse. Besides, Tech's not much for subliminals, more likely to say your name on the record if he's dissing you.

damn krizz album was dope IMO and I liked it more than both skat and snug's albums and shit I'd say both kutt's albums overall, and pretty much anything cept tech's releases.  Im not sayin kutt's not dope but overall krizz album had more heat alltogether.
but yeah kutt is dope and I like his style
damn his album's been out and they havent put that video out yet, that dont sound rite
makzilla, shadow and greed are dope and mad talented
jus wish i had more info on them to get more muzik and stay updated
nah that song isnt too much but thats dope
i think it might be on the strange noize cd
it has tech on the intro
krizz doin: he crazy, he crazy....
kutt: look up in the sky, flamed up and b'd out...
any idea?

I see now, you're talking about Exclusive. Yeah, it appeared on the Stange Noize '08 compilation as well as the Strictly Strange '08 compilation. A snippet of it was also included on the We Are The Future sampler from back in like... April '08. That song (Exclusive), Whip It, Playa Like Me and Party Rock were all early material recorded for this album, but since two had been around since late 2006, and the others had been on the sampler, they decided to toss them on those two compilations and use their slot on the album for new material.

Kutt's album was indeed solid, but it takes a lot to put it over any Tech album. I honestly feel Feature Presentation and Word On Tha Streets would have a fight to determine the 2nd Best rank with the loser falling to third with Prozak slipping in just behind them.

conqueso34 is right about the Killer leftovers. Those were the only three mentioned, and have all three since been released. There's been no other confirmed leftovers for this one though, other than those mentioned. There's a Kutt interview that's in the process of being released (in mini-clips), so more information might surface soon.
