i dont think i have ever seen a thread in this section about the sport.

i dont watch it usually, but when the Opens are on TV, i usually tune in to watch Federer.

i figure the Euro-homies on this board would be somewhat into it, concidering it is more international than solely American.

i root for Federer, because is so outstanding lol (i know i should root for Roddick, but whatever ).

Roddick lucked out with Djokovic... he's not nearly as good, but the Serb had physical problems. Federer will punk Roddick, take that to the bank niggas.

yeah im a huge tennis fan and have been since about 8 years old. Ive proabley watched every major especially wimbledon (my home country slam) since 8 years old.

I love the game especially the footwork and how a player can express himself on the court with the way they can move the ball. my favourite player is federer and its starting to look like he can tie the record for his 14th major. last year obiousley with the whole fever thing people were saying his past it but winning the US open and getting to the final of both wimbledon and roland garos where he subsequentley got beat by a BRILLIANT nadal.

Nadals got a tough quarter final against simon and im still not convinced nadal is fully healed and am still not convinced its his strongest surface although he did win the olympic gold lol. Should nadal get through his also got a tough semi against possibly tsonga who was a finalist last year. Roddick is playing quite well as he usually does at the aussie but roddick has never been able to play federer well, if it wasnt for federer roddick would have alot lot more majors.

The biggest thing im seeing from federer is his forehand is back from where it was in 2007 his cut down on the errors which cost him alot of games last year and his forehand is finding the corners and lines with ease which is what federer does best, when his forehand is clicking like that its the best shot in tennis period. People are doubting if he can win 14 majors i personnally think he could get up to the 20 mark by the time his career is out.

also countray to popluar belief i think the hard surface is federers best surface and not grass, its well documented that at wimbledon the grass is alot slower then it used to be, hence why the serve and volley game has died.

Roddick's serve was on.

Djokovic is the better overall player, but Roddick came out strong & more importantly, was in better shape & i guess deserved it.

he chased down just about every ball from Novak.

while Novak might have let 6 or 7 just go by.

Tennis is the shit... I watch this sport a lot and has  attended Roland Garros games, Paris - Bercy master and some Cup Davis aswell ... I hope we will have the 100% French 1/2 Finals ... I'm confident about Tsonga , will be much harder for Simon but he already beat Nadal (and Federer twice) once so he usually plays great when he has nothing to lose ...
