yeah but ugk made muzik for their core fans snoop made muzik for
lil mama
t.i.
akon
lil wayne........fans

thats the difference

UGK definetely went not platinum because of their "core" fans. Nobody does that today.

What do you mean the numbers outside of 50 and buck?bucks last album didn't even go gold and his first album sold what like one million?banks pushed more units then buck overall.buck didn't even sell that much more then yayo

Nah, wasn't it close though like 400 K final #'s? I remember Yayo failed epically and Banks did alright.

What are you guys talking about?? I remember before he went on tour with Rich Boy Buck The World was at least at 600,000 units.

I think Snoop should go to Atlantic, if not see if him and Jay-Z can get something cracking with his new deal.

As far as executives I think he needs a real BOSS to lead him. If Dre can't then DIDDY or 50 could at least consult him or even JD. Pharell did a exceptional job with Rhythm and Gangsta.

I appreciated the last album, I actually liked it more than the Blue Carpet Treatment. But songs like My Medicine killed it.

It's time for Snoop and Live Nation to begin negotiations...
"Shit ain't all peaches and cream, and I ain't Sara Lee, bitch!" - Lloyd Banks

"I'm Morpheus in this Hip-Hop Matrix, exposing fake shit." - Common

"With consecutive platinum hits, I up my status. Ain't no more Calvin Broadus!" - Snoop

"Look at all these conscious rappers - guess who influenced them?" - KRS One

He sure did! Man Drop it Like it's HOT was the best song snoop released in a LONGGGGG Time. Then the other heaters he had on there that was produced by Pharell.

I can't provide the soudscan for Buck the World, but I know I seen it at least went Gold on Sohh.com. This was before the Rich Boy tour he did. I aslo remember, because I was seeing how well he was able to compete with the Game with album sales because it had barely went Platnium by that time?? And I saw Buck was pacing well.

EXACTLY! It looks promising. It's a gamble, but one I think Snoop can benefit the most from.

lol

y'all got the #s twisted like MAD

Buck the World - not even Gold (maybe 400K overall)
Rotten Apple - not even gold (Same ish as Buck)
Yayo 1st album - 700K (surpassed Gold BUT this was when GUnit was still HOT so it was considered a flop - also was their first album to not go plat.)

UGK didnt go platinum they went gold; and that's because it was a double disc so u multiply the sales 2X

The People that bought Death Row probly gave Snoop a part of the label & now they gonna re-build death row with distribution through Kotch! (remember the interview were the new owner said "we are trying to establish a good relationship with all former artists)

^It sounds weird but since HIP HIP has turned into WWF anything is posible...

Provide proof. Because I know LLoyd Banks was a flopper, but Buck did pretty good with the times but not as good as the first album.

Yeah I heard Buck didn't go gold, but maybe that was only in the U.S.? I still don't see why Yayo was a flop, 700k is still good numbers. Everyone overlooks the fact that GRODT Soundtrack went Platinum +, that album was dope
