If they are going to get rid of Halladay and give up for 2010 too they REALLY should try to get rid of Rolen, just because he's at the highest value that he will probably get. There has to be some team that can use an excellent fielding 3rd baseman that hits .300

apparently Ricciardi is saying that Halladay likely won't be moved...I'm guessing he's bluffing.

looks like the Phillies are turning their attention towards Cliff Lee instead, which could indicate Halladay stays a Jay for the rest of the season.

Ricciardi needs to make a deal soon for Halladay...he's going to test the market and will end up signing with a contender; Ricciardi can get at least 2 or 3 good prospects IMO for him.

I think jp is a terrible GM and I always have.He doesn't have a plan for the team at all he just randomly signs over priced veterans each year.He just ends up with a big cap and no results

Rolen got shipped to the Reds.

Halladay stays; talks will resume in the off-season but I doubt we'll get as good an offer as we did before the deadline.

I drove down from Vancouver on wednesday to watch Doc pitch against the Mariners.... tough loss, but that was a wicked day.. I heard it was the hottest day in Seattle history? the players must have been dying, I was burned out just sitting in the crowd watching
