This team is so inconsistent. 

Coming to the end of June they are still in a playoff spot (tied).  Not bad considering how bad (understatement) their starting pitching has been plagued by injuries.

Red Sox righty Josh Beckett pitched seven shutout innings in Atlanta. Jays lefty Ricky Romero flirted with a no-hitter vs. the Phillies. And Yankees ace CC Sabathia was too much for the Mets.

And now Barajas is going the gang on the DL.   

The team purchased Kyle Phillips' contract from Triple-A Las Vegas to replace Barajas on the active roster. Raul Chavez should handle the bulk of the Jays' catching duties.

Jays wasted an awesome performance yesterday from Halladay and fucked up even worse today. Their season is falling harder than Marbury's career
