To me, O.G. Death Row fans refers to 1st generation 1992-1998.  Right up to the Gang Related SDTK.  Chronic 2000 was the transition period from 1st to 2nd generation.


Personally, I could care less for the 2nd generation.  The production never caught my ear and you need good production to compliment the lyrics.  Never liked Death Row production after Daz left

I was a Death Row fan since The Chronic dropped, I only kept following them in the event that Crooked and Eastwood released an album. I'm a Kurupt fan, but mostly a DPG fan and didn't care about the Left Eye, Spider Loc or Petey Pablo music.

I signed up for the site at one point cause I wanted to see what all the hype was about, but people know that ever since the Kurupt ATG leaked I been speaking openly about not feeling FTP.

I'm going to say it like this as I've stated numerous times. There are fans out there, real fans, that really want to hear this unreleased material. Can I blame them? Hell no, I know how much unreleased DR material means to me so I totally sympathize. However, I HAVE seen people that dissed FTP in the past and then switch up as soon as a project is available.

There's been people that are like, "Well, if a project leaks you know your going to download it." Yeah, no shit, obviously I'm going to download it. I'm not going to throw money in the pockets of those who don't deserve it though. I have plenty of reasons why I'm not feeling FTP's tactics which I don't need to go into here, I don't need to explain myself.

Your right in the sense that I don't know everything that's going on and I have been known to post compulsively on some of these topics, LOL. It's hard for me not to get involved and voice my opinion just because I feel strongly about the issue.

I'm just pissed because people I once worked with went to sucking bootleggers dicks for a meal. I mean, I have worked with bootleggers too one being Los Skanless, but I didn't want a damn dime off a project - I was just helping a friend. Bootlegging gets music out there, but at what cost? You feel me man?
