I really like this guy's style.  I hope Ruthless really get behind him and really help him promote this album.  Unfortunately, all to often, the newer Ruthless Records acts haven't managed to drop albums.  Baby S was an exception, but I think the luke-warm reception that his album received may partially be the cause for Ruthless not giving their artists the promotion they deserve.  Also, Ruthless really need to get their act together, regarding a website.  Their official site has been "under construction" since 2006.

Yeah.  I think a lot of it was her fault.  Although, to be fair, in the beginning she was already pigeon-held by a record label that was plagued with legal issues.  I think she has to accept the blame for a lot of the more recent troubles.  There's no excuse to have a business like a record company and not have some kind of website up.  (Wideawake, pay attention if you're reading this!)  It just been so long since Ruthless has had a hit, I just hope they don't drag this Hopsin guy down with them.

true, i shouldn't forget about the legal issues.

but it's still crazy how she managed to kill a label in about 10 years of time.
especialy, as you pointed out, with the technology available.
Ruthless completely disappeared!

Ruthless doesn't seem like the label you want to sign to as an artist & stay for a while.
i mean MC Ren had stayed there, but he regrets putting the album out, now.

Yeah.  You're right.  It's like the label just vanished.  I remember when they "celebrated" their 20th Anniversary, there was almost no coverage.  They put out that Bone Thugs compilation and that was it.  In 10 years time you could see there was a big difference in the way they celebrated their 10 year anniversary and the way they celebrated their 20 year anniversary.

I have no hard feelings for the woman, personally.  She seems like a nice woman.  But let's keep things in perspective here.  If Tomica was really doing a bang up job with Ruthless, you'd hear about Ruthless.  It would be mentioned once in a while.  It would still be a company that released albums; ran a website; promoted it's artists; for that matter, had artists. I love Ruthless, at least in the sense that I love the company that Ruthless used to be.  And if I criticize Ruthless, it's only because I wish it was still as great as it once was.
