"Thirteen-year-old Young Steff is being primed as the first teen R&B act for Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records. The South Jersey-based artist is expected to release his debut album next year.

The album's first single, "Can I Holla," a collaboration with Bow Wow, was recently serviced to radio. The song is also featured on the soundtrack to Bow Wow's film Like Mike.

Mike City, who has produced for Brandy, Carl Thomas, and Usher, has recorded two songs with Steff, "Walk You Home," and "All I Think About." City told LAUNCH that Steff's talent far exceeds his age. "He sings better than most adult artists that I work with right now. He's on fire. That kid is incredible," he said. "I was trying to do more records."

City was so impressed with Steff's vocal ability that he had the junior talent sing over the phone for Stevie Wonder. What did Wonder say when he heard Steff? According to City, Wonder simply said, "Wow."
