Every country has a duty to protect its borders. The US is no exception (for both borders).

More strict, how about should the U.S actually enforce and protect the border and the answer is absolutely yes. America is on the verge of a depression, it can't really support the existing population let alone yet millions more arriving.

lol believe me, if the U.S. really wanted to make the border down here more strict...they could and would.  If you grew up down here in S.D., chances are youve been through or to the border a ton of times. The San Diego/ Tijuana border crossing is the busiest in the world, and guaranteed not as strict as a lot of others.  Part of the problem is that the idea of protecting the borders from Illegal Immigrants and drugs is all just a game of smoke and mirrors.  Create the illusion that youre doing a great job, without actually doing shit. The other issue is that a lot of smugglers have Border Patrol agents working for them.

It's really not that simple. We should talk about reparations to Mexico first and then we talk border security.

lol, what a joke. Mexico is lucky we don't tax their ass even more for their continued failure to help with eliminating drug flow into America.

But yes. The reasons for a tighter border are so overwhelming, I don't want to get it in to it.

Cartel violence
Undocumented, untaxed population
Public sanitation
Public safety
Cost to local governments
Animals (disease ridden ones, crossing over, I mean real animals, not just the dirty rio grande crossers)

I could go on and really get in to the finer points, but I'm pretty sure most of us are in agreement on this issue.

Yes, all borders need to be strict. If this is a topic turning into Immagration, I believe we restrict the borders, and legalize the ones here who already working and are trying to build a better life. The one's who are not, and poisoning our streets/killing us, fuck em send em back.As a mexican its a sorta a borderline issue for me.Mexico's shit do to all the corruption, if they feel they can make a better life, then come, but at least come legally. If they just want to come fuck it up, fuck up my people more, fuck em.

Mexicans aren't gonna give a fuck about the babydick problems Americans are having because of them when they're making pennies while being run by a corrupt government. NO matter how you look at it, while Mexico is a shithole people are going to be migrating to make their lives better for themselves and their children. You might say "Oh that's not America's problem, they put themselves in this situation." It became their problem once they stole half their land for a measly $15 mil (worth 300 mil now) in the treaty of guadalupe hidalgo. Those are the reparations I'm talking about

1. Inflation! The concept of "boo hoo, it wasn't enough money" the Mexican government sold the fucking terrirtory! Don't be mad at the US because the government in Mexico was a bunch of putzes.

2. Reparations - Mexico should pay reparations for all the Indians and Aztecs they stole land from and slaughtered. Matter of fact, they should pay American Indians reparations for all the land they stole.

And hell, why not France, England and Spain, they all killed natives and stole their lands and gold as well.

There is no major nation without a bloody past involving power struggles. That is the way of the world. To whine about money needed for ills commited past is a bunch of fucking bullshit.

What? LOL. For one Mexico didn't "sell" their land like it was an auction how dumb could you be, US troops basically conquered Mexico when they conquered DF. It was basically a deal that Mexico had to agree on, they had a gun to the dome while signing the treaty. It was stolen plain and simple with some money thrown at them for public relations. Do you really think CA alone is worth 300 mil?? LOL

On your second point I really have nothing to say on that. Mexicans are Spaniards and Indigenous natives what the fuck are you talking about. The Spanish basically molliwopped the entire Aztec empire.

The US has had control of Mexico since that treaty my brotha, just look at the Mexican laws and politicians in office kissing America's ass. I wouldn't be surprised if half of these politicians were on Americas payroll

Look you basically said a whole bunch of nothing. Weasel terms. I understand this is probably close to your heart since you are mexican-American, but that's what makes you subjective. I'm not gonna get in to it since you won't want to accept the realities of things, I'll just let other people look at what I presented, and what you presented, and decide whether mexico should receive reparation payment. lol. bloodiest country in north America and they feel they were done wrong. nothing but a bunch of muts with no direct relation to any wrongdoing.

No you're just thinking I'm ignorant because I'm Mexican American so you don't even acknowledge the points I'm trying to make. I haven't even tried to make an argument for Mexicans living out here(here's one though, ITS THEIR LAND) I was just responding to the misinformed information you posted. And you damn well know in a forum with 90% white males(some maybe most with resentment towards Mexicans) it's ignorant to let them "decide" who's wrong and who's right in this subject.
