so does Lupe but he gets radio play. Budden just isnt great at making good songs - hes a hot lyricist but meth can make dope songs.

yeah, but Lupe had radio freindly songs like Superstar.

i mean, you didn't hear Dumb It Down on the radio lol.

honestly, Budden is too hard for the radio today; he doesn't have the freindly voice that most want to hear in their car radio's.

people want, Drake, Wayne & some autotune & that's it; they would change to station (in hopes that Wayne or Drake was on the other station lol) if Joe Budden came on with like Angel In My Life.

The Future is the only song i can see fitting for the radio or Touch, Go from his most recent works; but it hasn't been played, so don't expect it lol.

He just needs to hook up with better producers.  If he did more work with the kickdrums I'm sure he'd eventually have material that would be radio friendly even if it didn't get play.  I expect his new cd to be full of dope tracks - lyrically and production.
