1. Wordplay
70 cities in five days!! Nice beat. Nice punch lines. 4/5

2. Cyphr
Nice beat, again. Pretty nice raps by State Property, Wale came best though. 4/5

3. Chillin
I remain a Giant, and you Jeremy Shockey  8) Laid back vibe. Not a lot of Lady Gaga, good. 4/5

4. Tito Santana
Great beat, again. Wale can spit. Good verse by Budden, doesn’t outrap Wale though. 4/5

5. 5 Minutes
Laid back beat again, seems to be the vibe of the tape. Great verse by Skyzoo, probably best verse so far.  Wale keeps up, though. 4,5/5

6.  Life’s A Bitch
Wale references to Nas (track title). Kweli is great, better verse then Wale. So is Ortiz’. But Wale keeps up, proving he’s capable of doing such with great rappers.  4,5/5.

7. Night Life
First non-9th Wonder beat. Nice though. First song to have a chorus besides the Gaga one? Nice verses by Wale. Young Chris is nice too, never really liked him.  Third verse is really nice, the two rapping back and forth.  4/5

8. Sweatin Out Weaves
Decent beat, not as good as the previous. Don’t know who UCB is, not as good feature as the ones so far. Wale carries this song, keeping it a little above average. Only song I didn’t finish hearing. 3/5

9. Hot Shyt
Better beat then the one we just heard. Peedi Peedi drops a good verse. Next up is Black Thought. Rides the beat nice. Then comes Wale. Nice line about T-Pain. I think it’s Young Chris now, don’t know for sure, though. Sounds like a bad Jay-Z.  Last is Tu Phace. Never heard of him, doesn’t lift up the song. Great start, not so great ending. Not as laid back as the others. 3,5/5

10. Wonder
Nice to hear a 9th beat again. Like the vocal sample. Beat kinda outshines the rap, still nice verses though. Nice finishing verse. 4/5

11. Pot Of Gold
Great beat by Mark Ronson. Wale rides the beat great! Nice hook. Overall great song 4,5

12. Sharp
9th beat, really hope he does the majority of Wale’s future album. Again, Wale sounds great, I’m beginning to become a fan of him. Torae is a great rapper, (note to self, check out double barrel).
Have no idea who Kingpin Slim is, nothing mind blowing, but a nice verse.  4,5/5

13. Warwick Avenue
Soul inspired beat. Aiight hook by Duffy. Wale does great again. 4,5

14. The Sun
Great beat. One of the best so far (9th did it). Great rap by Wale, shows he got a story to tell (or two). Memphis Bleek flows nice. Always thought he was underrated. There is a certain depth to the track, both rappers does great. Best track so far.  4,75/5

15. Rather Be With You (Vagina Is For Lovers)
Nice beat, again. Switches up real nice. 9th blessed Wale on this tape. Great verses. 4,75/5

16. Goodbye
Great beat again. Wale really has a great, laid back flow. Great verse by Jean Grae, one of the best female mcs, EVER!! Short verse though. Nice outro by Wale :D 4,5/5

17. Say It Again
I keep saying this, but great beat :O. Matches Wale perfect. Great verse by 5’9. He sounds great on soul beats. Best Slaughter House guest spot. 4,75/5

18. Talkin Shyt
Nice beat by Cool & Dre, not really soulful like most of the beats on here, but nice with a little change. Bun B and Wale exchanges bars, sounds great together. Beat let the rappers shine. Not really feeling Dre’s verse, doesn’t like him as a rapper, pulls down overall impression 4/5

19. Nothing To Worry About
Wale rides a great beat, great again. A feel good song. Inspectah Deck name drop 8) 4,5/5

20. Rhyme N Reason
Warren G beat !!! It’s lovely. Starts with some dope namedropping. I like the lyrics, great flow again. 4,75/5

21. Um Ricka
Flow is great. Beat sounds like it has a salsa sample, I like it. Haven’t heard anything from K'Naan, like his verse. Kinda outshines Wale. 4,75/5

22. New Soul
Nice beat. Wale showcases his great flow again. Great track to end the tape with. 4,75/5

Overall = 4,5
Great mixtape  :o
hadn't really heard anything from him before, only "The Mixtape About Nothing" a while ago.
Great soul vibe throughout the tape, with a few exceptions. Does anyone know if its all original beats?
He has a great flow, spit some nice lyrics, and had my laughing of a few of those oneliners. Hope 9th Wonder will produces most of his album!
This mixtape made me a fan, gonna give it a few spins in the next couple of days.
See these fans can't resist the rush,
they Wu-Tang for life
Scarred for life,
they can't forget the cuts

I dig how BKS sampled Yeal Naim.  I also like the Budden track - dear lord I've become a Budden fan, what the hell is going on?

Swear to god I didn't even know who he was until the Saigon diss and then i really peeped him when Slaughterhouse started off.   I thought he was lackluster.  My first impressions were that he was good with the pen but couldn't deliver on the vocals and lacked good beats.  Plus, his songs were long so I thought he couldn't write a classic song in the 3-4 minute length which I think is hard.  Then I heard these 2 Kickdrum tracks with Budden and something done switched.

This is nice. Wale is a beast on the mic, and very few of the guests here come even close to showing him up, to be honest.

As for the produciton, I actually prefer the non-9th beats. Especially the final track - Best Kept Secret's beats are fucking awesome, I hope there's plnty of them on the album.

Dope project all in all. Once again, most of the best hip-hop this year has been on free mixtapes and street albums!

Very true I expected Black Thought to rip everyone else a new one but he had an average verse as far as I am concerned... This is very decent as far as mixtapes go... Mixtapes are getting closer to album level these days!

I'm about to check these new guys. Downloaded the B.O.B. mixtape untagged, this one, Drake one (although I think he sucks), J.Cole and still have to find the Kid Cudi one.

Ha ha, maybe that's something to do with it!

But seriously, there have been so many dope albums/mixtapes that artists put out free in recent months: Oddisee's 'Odd Summer', Diamond District's 'In The Ruff', Donny Goine's 'Breakfast Club', Diz Gibrain's 'Soon You'll Understand', Joell Ortiz's 'Covers The Classics'. Just the above are better than most of the 'retail' albums I've bought this year.
