Yeah if you didnt grow up in the 80's , you just wouldnt understand how big Michaeal Jackson was . Dude was bigger than life itself and its sad he went out like that .

The only sad part is that anna nicoles death was played on TV for literally a year straight...michaels is already fading away.
Uh hardly on both counts.  Anna nicoles death & James Brown's death were way overshadowed by Gerald Ford's death.  James Brown was the godfather of soul.  Ford, didn't have that it factor when it came to other presidents.  His death was even more talked about than Reagan's death.  And Ronald Reagan....lots of things happened when he was president.

Reagan was so old when he died it wasn't a shock or surprise to anyone. It was a celebration of life. It's like your great gandfather's funeral. No one is really sad about it. They're just there paying their respects.

It's hard to imagine that MJ's death will be as monumental as Lennon's of Presley's, just by judging with how it's already going in the media. As far as president's there's no way it'll pass the JFK death.
