"King Of The Kounty", Shortyo’s Debus Album Drops October 13th, 2009

***FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE***
[/b]

July 2009-Hailing from Delaware County, PA, Shortyo’s debut album “King Of The Kounty” is set for release on October 13th, 2009. “King Of The Kounty” will be distributed by E1 Entertainment (Formerly Koch Entertainment) and will be available at all music retail stores and digital media outlets.

Shortyo’s premiere album, “King Of The Kounty”, features rap icons Nate Dogg, Too Short and Lil Wayne. Platinum artist, Yung Berg, also lends his vocals to “King Of The Kounty’s” first single, “Stripper” which can be heard on college and Philadelphia area radio stations. Shortyo’s upcoming single, “There He Go”, featuring Reed Dollaz, is a “hard thumping street anthem” aiming to give Philadelphia the lyrical fix they’ve been looking for.

In addition to Shortyo’s major vocal guests, “King Of The Kounty” boasts an equally impressive production team. Drumma Boy, Oz and Da Decon, Basement Beats and more notable producer names collaborate with Shortyo in the creation of the upcoming “King Of The Kounty”.

Shortyo’s eloquent and raw style is showcased throughout the album with all songs written by Shortyo himself.

“My life has influenced every song on “King Of The Kounty”. I write what I see, experience and witness others going through. This process keeps my music real, relevant and personal,” states Shortyo.

Shortyo launched his career in 1997, establishing Affiliated Records. Shortyo released his first official CD, “Living My Life” after signing a major distribution deal in 2002. As Shortyo’s career took off, so did the talent he signed under his label, Affiliated Records. Pleased, but not satisfied, Shortyo felt it was time to get back in the studio, leading to the eagerly anticipated release of “King Of The Kounty”.

Shortyo will take to the road later this year with a college and club market tour. Dates and locations are currently pending. An official announcement of tour cities is scheduled for later this summer.

Who is Shortyo? Isn't he that big fat white guy who thinks he's Vanilla Ice??  & who has copied 2Pac tattoo's, like Tha Realest does?

"Whad up dawwwwgg"

lol, so when is this wack 'bootleg' hitting the "streets"  ;D lmao @ "major" distribution deal... Is your "rented" office space still being occupied. a guy who's always claiming to be a big 'baller' who's 'alledgedly' rolling in the millions of $$$ should have his own office space bought especially with the way market conditions are for property, you'd scoop up a bargain

**sits and waits for Shortyo to grab life savings so he can make a youtube video bragging to the internet world about how much dough he makes**

Next Boyfriend Ft. Nate Dogg? I dunno about that...

Nate had a song of his own years ago called "Next Boyfriend" featuring Knoc-turn'al (that I have) that was supposed to be on his "Nate Dogg" album from Elektra that remained unreleased...

And Here's His Jay-Z Diss: http://www.zshare.net/audio/61038855f4aeab6e/

 ;D

I like the line where he tells Jay Z to go and hit a gym. How very ironic. ;D

Here we go with this shit again. I thought this guy would have enough sense to dissapear after the rightful owner of the "One Nation" material got wise to him. And how exactly can this be be his debut album when his "press release" says he released his first official album in 2002? He seems to be setting himself up for some serious legal trouble but he seems like the kind of dude who won't learn until he ends up facing charges of fraud.

^I'm sure a professional label such as E1 would not get involved unless he has all the proper paperwork for each track. E1 ain't trying to get sued.

Hmm Fake Puerto Rican is missing!  I hit refresh a zillion times and still diont believe it!  Check his twitter for more fun.  He is actually talking about suing Game while Fat Head is also trying to sell a Game verse illegally.  Odd.  His twitter post about killing a sandwich and spending $289 on Japanese food are also highlights.

Hey Fat Head, Ace Boogy is gonna MURK your ass.  Time to harpoon the manatee and feed the Eskimos for a year.

It's the same song and dance he's been spouting for awhile now. I would tend to doubt that there is a deal with E1. He supposedly had distribution deals with Koch and Universal before as well. The Nate Dogg song more than likely was taken from the album he has been bootlegging on his site for some time. I've questioned him in the past about his business and he gave some very sketchy answers. If you do a little "google" search or two, you'll find quite a few people who are complaining of being short-changed by this man. Then there's whole matter of his dissapearing act a few months back when the CEO of Duck Down stated that there was no partnership between him and Shortyo (Shonuff) and the digital release of "One Nation" that Shortyo was selling on Amazon was illegal. When he did come back under a different user name, his first order of business was to throw out all this info about some big bootleg sting going down involving several groups who were bootlegging Death Row material, but surprisingly not him. Add to it the fact that this press release seems to just be something he wrote up himself and posted on this message board.  Everything I read about this guy screams out "con man" and I'd recommend that folks be careful about dealing with him.
