Rare/unreleased DPG tracks from 95-Now (Audio)
« on: August 05, 2009, 05:51:02 PM »
Hey everyone,

I was cleaning out some old stuff of mine and came across a few data CD's of music that had been lost long ago in reformats, crashes, HD transfers etc, and though I'd upload them here. Some of this stuff is straight from old CD's I bought, other stuff I have no idea. People might have this or they might not, if you don't have it enjoy, if you can drop knowledge go for it.
Consider this a dpg garage sale  8)

1) Tha Pound "Intro"
This and the original "Shit Happens" were available on mp3.com almost a decade ago fro download. They were off a project Daz was going to release by "Tha Pound" called "Undaground Shit." That album was the precursor to RAW which he released shortly thereafter and the rest of the tracks ended up remixed by Mike Dean on Dillinger and Young Gotti. This was a really dope intro, Daz should have used this somewhere. Been looking for this for a while.

2) Snoop Doggy Dogg DOGGUMENTARY Intro
I didn't even know I had this. But apparently this is the intro Snoop's shelved Deathrow EP Doggumentary. If you listen at the end you can hear the beginning of (the original version) of "Soldiers Story." As the track fades out you can also hear Snoop say "Death Row for life."

3) DPG x-Mas Interlude "Merry X-Mas from the Dogg Pound"
This I have absolutely no idea. It's like some unreleased interlude off the Death Row x-mas album. It's funny as hell, especially the end where Snoop wishes everyone a happy x-mas then says "ho ho ho" and Nate just looses it and starts laughing. Funny shit.. no idea where this came from.

4) Kurupt "Set It"
This was an old track that was floating around in mediocre quality. This is CD quality directly from the CD it was released on. A nice "Kuruption" era track.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/63690469728539d2/

5) Daz ft. Mac Shawn "On Dose" aka "Smoke Plenty"
This song has been floating around forever from Daz's short lived Dogg Pound Records on Death Row, but never in CDQ. This is straight up CD quality.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/6369058722bbc54d/

6) Daz ft. Mac Shawn "Money (check yo)"
This is the version off Mac Shawn's "Music Fo Tha Mobb." Death Row era circa 1997

http://www.zshare.net/audio/63690658d7c51c3b/

7) Daz ft. Mac Shawn "Money"
This is some type of remix to the above song. No idea where it's from.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/63690682be287047/

8) Daz ft. Bad Azz and 40 Glocc "You know"
Not much info on this. An old song but in CDQ.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/63690754029c8ce3/

9) Daz ft. Bad Azz and Ill Knob
Again not much info. Older song, track in CDQ.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/636907973ed27e5d/

10) Kurupt "Gangsta Bitch (Freestyle)
This is a Streetz Iz a Mutha era track. CD quality.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/636908716da3d772/

11) Kurupt "Double Up Again"
No idea. Sounds like a Space Boogie era track. CDQ

http://www.zshare.net/audio/63690939d9688747/

12) Kurupt "Game Iz Game"
No idea. Kurupt sleep-rapping over a Space Boogie style beat. CDQ.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/636909752d597a85/

13) Daz "My Life" ft. I-Rock
Probably some soundtrack feature. Decent track, Daz ripps the same verse he kicked on D&YG. CDQ

http://www.zshare.net/audio/63691057e700affe/

14) Daz "My Eyez" ft. Spice 1 and Killa Tay
Dope beat. CDQ

http://www.zshare.net/audio/636911130e12bfcb/

15)  Daz "21 Gun Salute" ft. Yukmouth and C-bo
Dope song. CDQ

Thanks for this. +1 for all the effort.  These tracks are from some of my favorite DPG music eras.  There are some of them that I don't even think I was ever aware of.
