Let's see the numbers these new school cats do.  For example, Drake or Cudi.  Hell, let's see what Jay moves now he's not on Def Jam.

If Drake does better numbers than Eminem then I might agree.

While I agree he's lost influence and fans, I think the sales reflect the atmosphere of people not buying music anymore - especially, hip-hop which is downloaded.

Hard, times actual sales by about 5 and I reckon you get a good picture of what shit sold 5 years ago

It's not just hard times.  It's just shit leaks, people want the product as fast as they can so they download it.  It's a matter of convenience.  You don't even have to spend money on gas or go the store.
