Saigon talks about Warning Shots 2, takes shots at Joe Budden
« on: September 07, 2009, 11:56:57 PM »

Is Sai high, or drunk, or both? lol!!!!

Sai speaks the truth on SH: "they can rap, but they can't make records"

Sai still working to get GSNT out, hopes for 2010, compares it to Lauryn Hill's album.

Sai right about Joe should keep his negative opinions to himself, lol, respect the game.

What he said about Slaughterhouse is basically true.  Their best song was a Joell Ortiz's song Move On remixed.   But they admit they just went in the booth to outrap each other and show that lyrical aspect of hip-hop.  There's not denying that so I don't see what the problem is.

He acts like Slaughterhouse isn't having fun out rhyming each other while he is with OJ Da Juiceman.   Additionally, he should shut his mouth about cameras and opinions when he's being an obvious hypocrite.  That punchline Budden really got under his skin and Budden's rap skills must really get under his skin.   Saigon is sensitive.  Dude just needs to chill

lol, Saigon just jumped on this "Fuck Joe Budden Movement".

him & Joe had beef, when it ended he was talking possible collab & shit.

the fact he is taking credit for this is funny, "i did it first, then people realized they could jump on him"; when in reality Joey brought it upon himself in the Wu-Tang situation; if the Vibe Bracket video never happened, neither would the Rae thing.

i hope Saigon & Budden trade tracks though, it's good music. 8)

IMO Saigon>Joey.

Saigon out diss-tracked him in that beef, but Saigon needs to put out an album.

Lyrically I don't think Sai is as good as any of the SH members although he got Budden good in their little battle. But I'd rather listen to a Sai album than SH cause I get bored of their formula. We need that GSNT album cause the snippets and singles suggest it could be classic.

Btw technically Budden and Royce arent mixtape rappers as they have dropped/are dropping albums, although arguably Buddens best work is on a mixtape therefore meaning he is a mixtape rapper.

I was really disappointed with Royce on the SH album, just a bunch of random verses thrown together. I'd say Saigon is better than the whole SH (perhaps not Ortiz) because he can actually make a song.

Im saying technically when it comes to metaphors and multi-syllabell rhymes Saigon isn't on the same level as the others but when it comes to making actual songs id take him over most of them.

I think Royce, Budden, and Ortiz have already shown with their solo careers they can make songs.  I'm not sure Crooked-I has.  Saigon isn't any better or worst that the individual members of Slaughterhouse.

They can all make songs, I'd just say Saigon's ratio for real song:random mixtape joint is higher because he doesn't drop alot of shit...

The same goes for Joell really, this dude collaborates alot with other artists on meaningful songs.  Where-as Joe/Royce/Crook seem to spend their features on posse/street cuts..

When it comes to albums though, Joe and Joell can make songs.  I think Calm Down is my fav song still after like 4 years.  Crook and Royce are so-so.  Saigon is proven above them all without even having an album out yet...

Nah fuck it, I'm thinking about all the unused songs Joey has made that leaked..  (DONT ASK ME WHY HE CANT MAKE THESE TYPE OF SONGS NOWADAYS) But they absolutely shit on any song song Sai has put out, and I follow alot of dude..   Joey smashes Sai on mainstream singles even.  Until Sai leaks some shit from the Atlantic vault, Joe's catalogue while under Def Jam is high above anything Sai has put out so far.  (Believe it, Pain in my life, cmon baby can contend tho)
