Eto'o>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ibrahimovic
« on: September 24, 2009, 12:37:25 AM »

As much as i can appreciate ibrahimovic,i must admit that Samuel Eto'o is something else.
In 90 minutes he's everywhere,he playes WITH and FOR the team,1 touch and go....a camerun player with the feets of a brazilian.
Ibrahimovic still a fantastic player, but Eto'o comes from another galaxy.

the newspapers in spain talked about some issues between him and guardiola, some journalist even said that he had problems with his team mates....and this can't be more far from the truth, the best example its the behavior of his ex team mates before during and after inter barcelona in champions league.
It wasn't even a problem of money,he was happy at barca.....but they said he asked too much money for the new contract, when he just wanted to be recognised for what he has done...more than 30 goal just in the liga (+ all the others in champions - even in the final )....i think they just wanted to get rid of him to have just 1 TOP big star (messi).
Anyway,Eto'o seems happy again now  8)

i've read some where Eto'o would get 3 mln if he wouldve transferred to a spanish club. but now hes with inter so he doesnt get the money so hes going to sue them. thats even weirder.

i've read some where Eto'o would get 3 mln if he wouldve transferred to a spanish club. but now hes with inter so he doesnt get the money so hes going to sue them. thats even weirder.

Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o is demanding three million euros from Barcelona after his summer transfer to the San Siro.

The amount represents 15 percent of the 20 million euro (£18 million) fee which the Italian side paid Barcelona in August.

The deal also saw Inter’s Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic join European champions Barcelona for 46 million euros. If the two parties fail to reach a settlement the matter could end up in court.

Eto’o bases his demand on a Spanish FA rule, which states that a player has the right to 15 per cent of the amount of his transfer fee to another Spanish club.

Barcelona, however, argue insist they owe Eto’o nothing because the rule is an agreement between Spanish clubs. They insist percentage payment is the responsibility of the club that buys the player.

A Spanish judge in February 2008 found in a similar case that Deportivo La Coruna had to pay 2.1 million euros to Spanish striker Albert Luque, the equivalent of 15 percent his transfer to Newcastle in August 2005 for 14 million euros.

“We are going to defend our interests,” the Barcelona official said, adding each transfer was different. Eto’o won two Champions League titles with Barca, in 2006 and 2009, scoring the decisive goal in both finals.

until this year i've never watched eto'o "live" in a stadium,i have a card for the whole season even this year @ san siro for the inter matches (like every year since i was a teen),
i've seen eto'o 3 times until this moment, and live is even better compared to the TV (like all the great players).
i can't believe i can see a player like him live almost every 2 weeks (or less)  :yikes:

Funny it took you so long to figure this one out. Maybe the transfer has something to do with it?  ???

Both great players , how is eto doing ? I think Ibrahamovic has 5 goals in 5 games.
