i think both albums are very dope, but if i'd have to pick which one is better, i think i'd pick "tha last meal" .

after tha last meal, snoop went pop with his solo albums, and that's when i stopped buying his solo records.

"Brake Fluid", "Loosen Control", "I Can't Swim" and "Back Up Off Me" are the tracks i don't like.

I like Brake Fluid.  Dope track and Kokane is the shit on it.

Loosen Control is a okay track.  Not the best but a cool track.

Agree on both I Can't Swim & Back Up Off Me.

I listened to NLTD last night and to me it has more fillers than Last Meal.  But it does have some serious bangers on it!!!

No Limit Top Dogg-  Great album.  We couldn't have asked for anything more than this from Snoop at this stage in his career.  So many great tracks, the 3 Dre produced tracks all lived up to the hype, Snoop killed it over Meach Wells "My Heat Goes Boom" and there was really no filler tracks in the whole album.

That's what i'm sayin', there are no tracks that are GARBAGE on this album but "Tha Last Meal" does have the tracks that i listed earlier.

top dogg ...its got some wack shit like the c-murder track.but overall its more consistent and got more good tracks in different styles...budda. meach, quik, dre etc.. like a real westcoast album should be
last meal is too much fillers and too much funk kokane style...if you are not feeling that you cant even listen to the best tracks( and the album def got classic tracks..nr 2, 4, 5, 8(minus master p" ,10, 12, 19 etc)

Both have some filler, I just feel like the more dynamic singles are on Last Meal. Topp Dogg is slightly more consistent but less songs that have had wow and repeat factor for me. Not a bad thing because I can pretty much play both front to back.

i voted Last Meal even though Top Dogg had some good songs, i could make a dope compilation with the best tracks from both albums

its a shame "No Bacctraccin" with George Clinton didn't make Tha Last Meal album, with meech wells on the production, bootsy collins on the guitar and dr dre on the mixing that song was dopeness. thankfully Meech gave it us in good quality, i still have it in my playlist

also Snoop considered doing a Lost Tape album with unreleased songs from Tha Last Meal sessions in 2002, he should re-think about it

I think we can add "Paid the cost to be the boss" to that compare... those 3 albums are very comparable and classics.

My choice would be The Last Meal>Top Dogg> Paid The Cost
