2-3 day backlog too. I hope those postman loose all of their shyt in the mail because of it and inconvenience themselves. They always seem to strike before christmas. You don't really hate it until you've got a pregnant gf, or something similar and require the post to find out hospital appointments, receive important things relating to it in general, and they wind up fkn up a weeks worth of mail, some of which gets lost due to the large backlog of it all. Assholes

Snoop is globally - a recognized name, hence why he tours over Europe, Japan etc. and they fans can't even purchase his album with the bonus tracks on it??? Terrible lol.
i agree. thats bullshyt how they only have the bonus tracks exclusively at bestbuy stores, which excludes people from overseas who want to buy the album with the bonus tracks.
the bonus tracks should be on all cd's, and not just if you buy it from bestbuy

boo hoo.  european and japanese releases historically are the ones with bonus tracks (on albums by american artists) so forgive me if i won't buy into your snooop bonus track sob story.  bummer that you don't have access to the best buy version but how about you order it online or get it from an intermediate source like us americans have been doing with international releases since the early 90s?

seems to me that it's an excuse not to buy or just to whine about a problem that is easily fixed.

even if it's 4400 that's still a low number.  a better tracklist that would appeal to the general public and not just death row zealots, paired with a decent marketing campaign, could have saved this release.  surely there are some snoop videos locked away that they could have finalized or even slum it and make a changes type video out of random clips.

if i loaned WA money to buy the DR assets right about now i'd start wondering if i was ever going to see it back, let alone with interest.

wideawake is going to fail - two albums and they both went wood. The question is when will they fail. I'd be surprised if they last til the summer. Lara working with a known death row bootlegger isn't smart either. She knows am7 has bootlegged but chooses to ignore, she needs his help with the vault, but am7 isn't doing a good job either.

Bets when wideawake fails??

I'll admit it's not looking good right now.  To make matters worse, the word of mouth these releases keep getting is all bad due to the sound quality issues.  The other glaring error I see is that there's next to no promotion for these.  These guys may need to consider going strictly digital with some of these releases.  At least then, there's not a lot of overhead involved with putting the releases out.  I think though, if there's not some kind of major shake up at Wideawake, things could be looking real grim for them.

the cd would have NOT sold on unit more if the mixing/mastering would`ve been better. that`s a fact

Well, my point is that the word of mouth the past two releases have gotten has been mixed at best.  There is a lot of negative reaction to the mixing/mastering.  While I don't know that that contributed to "The Lost Sessions" poor sales, it doesn't help Wideawake going forward.  In other words, it's going to be difficult for them to generate any kind of buzz when there has only been a lukewarm reaction to the first two projects.  Regarding the sales of "The Lost Sessions" (and "Chronic: Re-Lit" for that matter), I stand by my original statement that lack of promotion was a big contributing factor.  I think there are a lot of people that still aren't aware that these releases even exist.   While I think you can attribute some of that to the lack of Dre and Snoop's involvement, I don't think Wideawake did enough to promote the albums either.

Just drop something like Say Hi To Tha Bad Guy, update it with bonus tracks featuring artists that are currently hot like T.I., Yung Berg and Shortyo. That will move units for them.
Sig cut down, keep decent sized.

Yea but you have to give credit to Koch, they have done a great job with his album. That's Philly right there, that's Sho next to the big man!

Richard just give it up. You're not fooling anyone. Your 360 deal will actually have you paying Koch you big baller you. Fuck your shit ass album with unauthorized features.  I should hit up too short and let him know whats going on.

Didn't Koch officially change its name to E1? Something don't seem right here, though given the nature of the individual involved, I guess it's to be expected.

you are right for once cheesefry. they always get bonus tracks & when they don't they cry like little bitches about & say it unfair but you don't hear us complaining in america about it.so it fair for once.  best buy is the only store putting out bonus tracks on cd's in america. so that means best buy has some kind of special deal in music industry in american . also shouldn't america get bonus tracks over other countries because it is american product not another countries product. so all you cry babies in other countries cry about not getting the bonus tracks should shut up & get over it.

LOL. Who is going to want some fat talentless moron like Shortyo on something like "Say Hi To The Bad Guy" just to degrade it with his worthless mumblings?? Crooked I is more recognized through out the internet a hell of a lot more than some fat dude called Richard, the same guy who claims to be a "baller" yet rents his office space, and draws out savings to lay around ready for a 'retaliation' youtube video response to the people questioning him before returning it.

That fake accent, swagger, and 'Outlaw' tattoo aint fooling anyone either. Wait until you hear how different his accent is from 9-5, it's laughable...

Watch at 0:11 and see how pathetic he is, and how hard he "tries" to be down lol, by throwing some random hand symbol.. It's straight GANGSTA  :P
