Snoop is globally - a recognized name, hence why he tours over Europe, Japan etc. and they fans can't even purchase his album with the bonus tracks on it??? Terrible lol.
i agree. thats bullshyt how they only have the bonus tracks exclusively at bestbuy stores, which excludes people from overseas who want to buy the album with the bonus tracks.
the bonus tracks should be on all cd's, and not just if you buy it from bestbuy
boo hoo.  european and japanese releases historically are the ones with bonus tracks (on albums by american artists) so forgive me if i won't buy into your snooop bonus track sob story.  bummer that you don't have access to the best buy version but how about you order it online or get it from an intermediate source like us americans have been doing with international releases since the early 90s?

seems to me that it's an excuse not to buy or just to whine about a problem that is easily fixed.
at hip hop dx they have it at 4400 sold

you are right for once cheesefry. they always get bonus tracks & when they don't they cry like little bitches about & say it unfair but you don't hear us complaining in america about it.so it fair for once.  best buy is the only store putting out bonus tracks on cd's in america. so that means best buy has some kind of special deal in music industry in american . also shouldn't america get bonus tracks over other countries because it is american product not another countries product. so all you cry babies in other countries cry about not getting the bonus tracks should shut up & get over it.

The difference this time, is that it's not a current mainstream release this time. It's previously unreleased tracks from the Death Row vault, and when it's that that's in discussion here the albums are bought for entirely different purposes. People will buy it because it's "unreleased" tracks from a golden era in Hip Hop music and fans will want the full lot possible.
I know that Japan has had a lot of bonus tracks in the past. Some that I have had to get imported for extra, most recent probably being the 2Pac release for an example, but it didn't seem to bother me at all whether or not I bought the US or the UK version. This is material or albums people have waited patiently for for almost ten years or longer though, and they want the one with the most available. I agree that it's not too difficult to get one, but it would be good to see some worldwide distribution out there to help achieve higher numbers, because a lot of people seem to be holding off making purchases in order to not buy what they may feel is a weaker version because it misses 3 tracks.

Best way is to become a WIDEawake collector and buy up everything lol

i betchu that no1 will buy that Pac album either.  U can't capitalize on tha past like that.  Now 6/7 years ago they would've probably made their money back off of these two releases alone but i just don't see a Pac album in 2010 being huge.  Yeah i'm sure we'll all hear about it on the net but no1 will buy it.  It'll be just like this Snoop album that no1 talks about or buys except us and the DR forum members (half of which i'm SURE is ppl on here)

i'm tellin' u.  the only thing that could give DR/WA a huge boost in PR is releasing the Dr. Dre shit.  A Dre album, a compilation of Dre beats with niggaz rappin' on 'em, and a Dre album w/ only features from 2Pac & The DPG.

2-3 day backlog too. I hope those postman loose all of their shyt in the mail because of it and inconvenience themselves. They always seem to strike before christmas. You don't really hate it until you've got a pregnant gf, or something similar and require the post to find out hospital appointments, receive important things relating to it in general, and they wind up fkn up a weeks worth of mail, some of which gets lost due to the large backlog of it all. Assholes

full of shit, the last strike was 2 years ago and it was june, july time. any strike before that happend pre 2000.
so its ok that they havnt had a pay rise in nearly 2 years? royal mail agreed to give them the pay rise, then backed out. not to mention that al the jobs they have cut and never replaced. postman now basicly do 2 peoples work per day. upuntill today its only been mail centres who have on strike, today was the 1st day a 'postman'  who walks the streets has been on strike. its only 1 day strikes anyway, only a days work is lost. different units of the busines have been out at different times. sorry your dole mony has been delayed a day.
do you want your post delivered at 7 at night because thats what royal mail want. its bad enough that it gets delivered by 2 or 3 now (again royal mail changing the times) shit postmen used to get finished by 10 years ago.

Dole money??  ::) I work a full time job, and attend college at nights. I have never been on the dole in my entire life, so quit being a condescending little rogue because I hit a nerve. It's not good modernising any business from an employees point of view when it'll affect working conditions but when you work for the public, and at times when unemployment is on the rise, and competition is climbing sometimes the people have to swallow a bitter pill.

Also, Royal Mail have been on strike a number of times, and they did strike last year I could tell you that for a fact. My sons 3rd birthday (last year) present arrived late due to a strike up this end last year by Royal Mail, but hay because it wasn't throughout the entire UK and all over the news it didn't happen right??? It's clearly happened more times than you're aware of or choose to acknowledge

I don't know how old you are, but I'm old enough to realize that times have changed, and businesses are more competitive than ever before, and because of the recession, businesses must make cuts, and put processes in place to ensure they remain operational. I work for a company that's main customer is the UK & US navy, and due to the talks about defense budget cuts, this could potentially harm our work, so we know that sometimes in order to stay on top, we have to do things and have done things such as, work shifts, or do additional work, or procedures we don't necessarily like, but we're mature enough about it to understand that there are others out there that the UK/US can easily go to for the same business.

Obviously The Royal Mail is different and I understand that but what you have to understand is that when you carry out a service to businesses AND the national public and that when you inconvenience them, on an annual basis, you aren't going to gather large support from them when you create difficulty for them, especially with so many being out of work at the moment with families who would gladly change places with the grumbling postman in a second, and you may say it's only for a day or two, but people depend on certain things, important crucial things in the mail, not just a Will Smiff Dogg CD that they want to hear or a DVD.
The more and more Royal Mail do this kind of thing, the more businesses will eventually pick other mail service providers to carry out the work, and because of the strike, other mail service providers have had a massive boost in sales this week and as a result, may have generated enough money to finance growth and opportunities which could cause further trouble for Royal Mail. Good Luck
