Yes and No. music in mainstream radio these days is so bad I think I'mma be forced to keep my kids from listening to that shit(I really can't do that I'm just saying though). But people are really sleeping on the music that's coming from the bay these days, shit that might be a bit "hyphy" people will discredit and hate on it just cuz of the sound but they won't even hear the messages and words spoken in those songs. Zion-I, Jacka, and even D-lo(d-lo raps about hood shit not necessarily anything productive but it still goes hard as fuck).
