Ja Rule Launching Clothing Line
« on: November 18, 2002, 10:27:57 AM »
According to published reports, Ja Rule will be the latest hip-hop artist to launch his own clothing line. The 26 year old rapper/actor/singer/songwriter will launch "Mogul," a clothing line Rule described as "high end, street apparel."

Rule says that Mogul will appeal to everyone. He plans on launching a big womens/mens division of the line as well. There is no launch date for the clothing line, as Rule is still sampling materials and designs.

JA Rule is preparing to release his latest album, The Last Temptation. Rule can currently be seen aside Kurupt and Steven Seagal in the action flick, "Half Past Dead." The movie, which opened in Theaters November 15th, brought in $8.2 million in box office receipts.

The movie faced stiff competition from Eminem's "8 Mile," which raked in $21.3 million over the weekend, while "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," the second installment in the Harry Potter franchise took in a whopping $87.7 million, the third-best debut weekend ever.
