« on: November 17, 2002, 10:53:24 AM »
There was loads of copies of this in hmv, it had some world class wreckin cru tracks on it and some from other artists like ice cube. It was a double cd, does anyone know if its worth buying?

where is the hmv that you saw that at?

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

I'm not interested in Dre during thar era.  It's cool to see his evolution from then to now.  That is just some techno rap.  I have "Concrete Roots" which is enough for me as a collectors item.
