So let's review D.A. or more so, tracks where he's completely bitting Dre's flow, voice and rap technique: Lookin At You, Da Shit, Remedy, Let's Ride,  Too Much, Cali Vacation. Then there's two weak tracks; Bang and Around The World. That's 8 out of 16 tracks that you skip. L.A.X. tracks that are weak are Ya Heard,  House Of Pain, Let Us Live and Touchdown. That's 4 out of 16 tracks that you skip.

Doc on the other hand is great, flows like an album from top to bottom. So did D.A. beat wise but I can't get past the obvious Dre imitations. Only tracks I skip is that Mary J. Blige track.

that's your opinion, it's not set in stone that i have to skip these songs

He talks about re-inventing hip hop and then goes and puts Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, and Gucci Mane on his album  ::). I've liked every Game album up to this point but those guest appearances are WEAK.

^and the Gucci song was already weak.

the Ross song will just be them taking shots at 50.

the Jeezy song could go either way, but i bet you it has that southern feel to it.

he needs those solo tracks with the ill West Coast beats; like Da Shit & Lookin' At You.

^ I think some of Game's best work is when he collaborates, he's not great at hooks so I think getting good guests plays to his strengths. However, when you release a DVD about snitching and then collaborate with someone that was a known police officer it's not a very good look lol.

All those joints are dope as fuck minus Let's Ride which is average. NO WAY anyone should skip Lookin At You, Da Shit, Remedy, Too Much & Cali Vacation. And the reasoning u give for skipping them is dumb imo.

Ya Heard & Touchdown were so wack. So is Cali Sunshine & the Ne-Yo one.

I said Cali Sunshine & The Ne-Yo one. That's two different songs. And Cali Sunshine wasn't solo; it had Bilal on it. That beat was one of the worst Nottz beats  :-X

Dumb ? Why would I wanna hear somebody imitate another rapper on a retail album ? When Chamillionare or Royce do it on mixtapes it's for fun but when Game jacks Dre flow on 6 tracks of the DA album and 1 track of the LAX (Let Us Live, Nas) that's completely retarded to me. If I wanna listen to Dre or Nas, I'll listen to their albums. If I listen to a Game album, I want to hear Game.

agreed.

i'm kind of sick of that whole "pay homage" thing, every now & then it's alright; but every song on the album? c'mon son.

it's because Game doesn't have a style of his own, but people won't buy into that. :stupid:

To me, those songs are damn good songs. LAX is definitely Game's worst album.

man, as much as i love this dude's music, whenever he speaks he contridicts himself way too much. It's like he says this in one interview and at the next one he's doing the same shit that goes against his words. He ain't that credible person.
