4 episodes I think. This season for me is by far the worst, I mean its still good but I'm a little dissapointed. The first 2 episodes=boooooring Glad they got rid of the kids, I don't care if they lost their mother, Aster was just pissing me off.

Season 5 shaped up to be as good as the previous ones, started a bit slow but it was crazy watching few last episodes. Cant wait for the finale.

so what are the general thoughts on season 5? just finished watching it myself, thought the last few eps were really good, was a pretty slow season overall compared to the one previous, but obviously there was a lot of shit that had to be sorted with rita dying and whatnot...

thought the finale was probably the best episode, altho for a while i did think there was gonna end up being a quinn situation similar to the one dexter had with doakes, wonder how they'll pan out their dynamic going forward...

Yeah, the finale was very bland. No twists or anything. Everything fell into place for Dexter too easilly.

After 8 years this show is coming back for season 9 in November. I wonder what theyre gonna do with it, was one of my favorite shows to follow back in the day.
