I have seen Game live and even though he doesn't perform full diss tracks what he does do is flip the lyrics of his tracks while he was on G-Unit and he disses them in the verses

before banks dropped his solo album, he was hot. His mixtape work, and especially his work on Beg For Mercy was quality. I couldn't wait for his solo but it was shit. Game's first solo, in my opinion, was his best, prob cos dre was all over it. Game's last two albums have been pretty shit, but not as shit and banks' albums.

I can't disagree.   That can be said for many artists and isn't that a reflection of a decent artist, one that can pick dope beats?  Additionally, another legitmate critique of Game's "song writing" is that many of his tracks are remakes of original tracks.  It's not really his original idea, another artists and he just remakes it.  Most of Doctor's Advocate was that and various tracks off The Documentary were too.
