Never been a fan of 30 Rock but personally think AD is hilarious. Great show full of running jokes and in-jokes and some great subtle acting.

30 rock is a lot worse, its not even entertaining, i guess i just dont get that kind of humor

Arrested Development has its moments, and its marginally entertaining to watch, but its not that funny, i watched so many of the 1st season episodes without even a smile, and people are acting like this show is the seinfeld of the 200s,

again, what am i missing? post some youtube clips to change my position?

I've never seen 30 rock but i've seen arrested developmen & I agree with you.  Glad somebody said something.  Its overrated.  Same thing that goes with the unfunniest show ever, Seinfeld.  And the 2nd unfunniest, Friedns.

Friends however was one of the least funny sitcoms of all time. Can't stand it.

i hate shows with over acting.

like when you know that shit is so fake; that's why The Office is so funny; they keep such actual people type profiles, which almost gives the show a sense of actuality.

i never watched AD though; i heard it's pretty hilarious.

ya i gave 30 rock a shot the other day, watched 2 episodes, hardly laughed so i dont get the hype either.  same shit with 2 1/2 men, its like the greatest show and charlie sheen is highest paid actor on tv but to me its soooooo predictable and not funny...it has its moments but overall its just same old stuff from sitcoms of 80s and 90s
