Granted, and for an every day average rapper that's fine, but for an iconic figure of Hip Hop, and of music in general, they should Not have to embark upon demeaning their integrity and legacy for a few quick sales.

Real bosses, pimps, and artists with status and musical permanence do not need to sell out entirely and work with some of the biggest jokes in music (and on a recurring basis) just to be popular. Prince, Santana, Oasis, whoever do not do it, and can pretty much negotiate a decent deal at the very least due to their imprint on music, and previous achievements. All Snoop is doing is creating a bigger problem for himself in the long run by tainting his (formerly) unblemished character. In ten years time, he'll no longer be known as Snoop Dogg - braid haired global gangsta rap star who sells multi platinum records and on respected US shows, but as Snoop Dogg - Pop rapper who raps with Britney Spears, Soulja Boy and does colgate ad's. He'll fade with the fads he so desperately works with

He needs direction and proper management that is looking out for Snoop long-term, and not just someone who's pimping him out to line their own pockets short-term
