« on: February 02, 2010, 07:14:19 AM »
Probably we'll never see a solo album from Butch Cassidy....
Butch should hook up with Quik,a whole album together would be amazing,no featurings just Butch and Quik.

Whaddyall think ?

Yeah, that would be good, they have made dope collabos together. "Can't Go Wrong" is their best collabo so far.

Butch Cassidy is over-rated. He's got a few good tracks, but a whole album? Come on.

I like hearin' Butch Cassidy doin' hooks or him doin' an track with somebody rappin'. that's why a collabo album with somebody like DJ Quik would be tight. What ever happened to that "Black & Brown" collabo album that Butch Cassidy was supposed to release with somebody? I can't remember dudes name.

Butch is very very dope. And i think he can handle a solo record. People say the same with nate dogg but my favorite songs are his solos. Quik and Butch would be very dope that's for sure. I've dreamed of a duo album nate & butch. too bad they didn't collabore together after g funk classics. even if butch said he worked on a nate solo album

i meant that butch said around 2004 or 2005 that he was in the studio with nate dogg for nate's future solo album. Nothing came out of this. Nate and Butch's tracks on the g-funk classics are.. classics  8)

I'd prefer a Quik, Snoop, Devante, Warren G, & Butch Cassidy album. No other features besides some archived Nate vocals. None of these Kurupt/Quik albums, Butch Cassidy/Quik albums, because when it's just 2 artists, it turns out wack

What collabo albums have turned out wack? "BlaQKout" was weak as fuck though, only one track i still bump from it ("BlaQKout")

DJ Quik/Kurupt - Blaqkout
DJ Quik/AMG (Fixxers) - Midnight Life
Jay Z/R-Kelly - Unfinished Business

Those I can think of at the top of my head, but there are a lot, and they usually wind up wack, when they don't meet the expectations when it's 2 big named artists with a previous record of quality

Maybe he has more then a few dope tracks. But he ain't a solo rapper. A whole album with Butch and Quik would be a disaster, just like that Kurupt album (which was bad for a variety of reasons) and the Fixxers album (which was a train wreck from the start).

My dream Quik album would be something like the Konnicted project. Why not do another? Quik doing the beats, get some of the old crew back together, Hi-C, Suga Free, AMG, guys like that, throw in some old Mausberg verses. That would be dope.
